Mrs. Mary Murry

My name is Mrs. Mary Murry. I am beginning my 26th year of teaching kindergarten. Before entering the KCSS system, I taught in Beloit, Wisconsin. It was there that I started the first kindergarten and preschool program at Brother Dutton School. After teaching 18 years in Beloit and 1 year at St. John Vianney in Janesville my husband and I moved to Kaukauna. I am a graduate of University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and continue to take graduate courses to enhance my teaching knowledge and skills. Traveling is something I love to do. I have visited Italy, Ireland, Egypt, Germany, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. It was in Australia and New Zealand that I completed two comparative educational courses. The kindergarten class visits "Our Little Corner of the World" which contains books, animals, pictures, and art.

I was honored to be in Who's Who Among America's Teachers in 1992 and 1996.

I am married and have a daughter, son, and two wonderful grandsons all living in Beloit.
