  • Free Choice Time
  • Games and outdoor play

  • Large motor skills
  • Fine motor skills
  • Developmentally Appropriate Games/Activities

Our goals for the year include promoting your child's growth in all areas of development-physical, emotional, social, cognitive, and spiritual. During the year we will present concepts such as colors, shapes, matching and sorting, positional and directional concepts, same and different, numbers, rhyming words, seasons, recognizing and printing your child's name, and learning to read.

We recognize that learning to read is more than learning the alphabet and phonics. It is learning language skills, listening skills, thinking and reasoning skills, visual discrimination, observational skills, learning to read from left to right and top to bottom, realizing that letters make up words and words make up the written language, and most importantly developing and interest in reading for pleasure and information.
